NA1R is a solo project by artist-producer Ajith Nair. During the pandemic of 2020/2021, inspired by the production process of his band's single Calm, Ajith decided to start producing music from his bedroom, hoping to share a part of his soul with all his listeners. Working mostly in the genre of rock music, Ajith hopes to blend indie/alternative rock music with elements commonly found in other genres. Ajith also plans to branch out to other disciplines of rock music, such as math rock, psychedelic rock and shoegaze. Ajith hopes to thrive in the Malaysian rock scene, making music that resonates with his listeners, bringing them the comfort and nostalgia of the early 2000s, while still maintaining the air of the current scene.
