RIUH MERDEKA IS HERE!
It’s our first time at Merdeka and it wouldn’t be the same without you. Have a few questions? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with this FAQ.
1. What do you mean by 30 hours?
RIUH Merdeka will be held for 30 hours non-stop starting from 12.00 PM (30/8) to 6.00 PM (31/8). This means that there will be continuous content on and off-stage as well as operation of vendors throughout these 30 hours.
2. So, as a vendor at RIUH Merdeka, I will be operating for 30 hours non-stop?
Correct! As a vendor at RIUH Merdeka, you’ll be operating throughout the event and are responsible for managing your own shifts, restocking, and any other needs during the 30-hour operation.
3. Where is the exact location of RIUH Merdeka?
RIUH Merdeka will be held at Tapak Parkir Monumen Alaf Baru, Putrajaya, located between McDonalds Putrajaya and Monumen Alaf Putrajaya.

Time & Date
- 28th August 11.00AM right until 29th August 5.00PM. Exact time to be informed nearer to date.
- Any form of set-up on event days (30th and 31st August) is not permitted as roads surrounding the venue will be completely closed for the Independence Day parade.
Parking:
- During setup days, you may park next to the venue for easy unloading and choose to leave your car there overnight until the event ends to secure a convenient parking spot. However, you’ll need to arrange your own transport to your nearby accommodation.

5. Event Day
As mentioned above, ALL bridges entering the event venue will be completely closed on 29th August 6.00PM until 31st August 12.00noon - no private vehicles whatsoever are permitted to enter.
Parking during event:
- You can either park in Putrajaya Sentral MRT station and take the designated shuttle bus (24 hours and free) to the venue OR take the water taxi at Ayer 8 port (free) and walk over to the venue.
- For your information:
- MRT Putrajaya will be operating 24 hours on the 30th & 31st August in conjunction with RIUH Merdeka & Indiependences Day Parade in Putrajaya
- Rapid KL buses will be operating 24 hours from designated bus stops on the 30th & 31st August in conjunction with RIUH Merdeka & Independence Day Parade in Putrajaya
6. What amenities are provided by RIUH to assist vendors in their operations?
Shared resting areas for vendors and crew
- A shared resting facility is provided by RIUH for vendors and other event crew - feel free to bring your own resting equipment, such as tents, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs etc.
- This facility is a shared space, therefore vendors’ consideration and understanding is greatly appreciated.
Space for vendor’s own freezer
- Vendors handling raw ingredients are strongly encouraged to bring their own freezers for storage, which can be placed in a shared space provided by RIUH. Vendors are responsible for labeling your freezers and keeping your materials safe and secured.
- Overnight electricity and security is provided from set-up day until the event ends.

RIUH is a curated, creative platform. We are looking for homegrown, artisanal brands and local artists! Vendors, facilitators and artists from other states outside of Kuala Lumpur are welcome to apply. However, kindly note that RIUH will not be liable for any transportation and accommodation cost.

Fresh, creative and original.
Presentation of products and brand / self is of professional standard. This means that you have a cohesive collection / menu of products or services, good branding, and high-quality photos.
Not a reseller, trader, or second-hand business.
